I really liked this post because my group and i got to go out and try to imitate a style of photography previously used by a well known past photographer. Also i liked the way our shots came out looking, compared to the way she took them and of the objects she took pictures of they werent to off. Finally i liked the experiance of getting to try soming new with my group.

1. I like the way i captured the flower and how clear you could see its textures.
2. I like the way i edited and the black and white twist to the photo

1. This is my favorite photo because it was a very simple shot that came out meaning more.
2. I like that the picture came out clear and focused on the subject and blured everything esle out.
3. I like the way i got to edit this photo in a way that makes the feeling of the cold  pop out

This second semester i think it would be a great idea to have a project where we chose what we want to take pictures of.

I think he has a heka free zone because he doesnt like that work? 

Photos inspired by Imogen Cunningham

1. Imogen Cunningham was a famous photographer who influnced many other photographers with her work. She was born in portland, oregon. Imogen got her first camera at the age of 18 in 1934 Cunningham was invited to do some work in New York for Vanity Fair. Her husband wanted hr to wait until he could travel with her, but she refused. They divorsed latert that year. Cunningham continued to take photos until shortly before her death at age 93 on June/24/1976

2. Our group was really inspired by Imogen Cunningham's work because the way she took pictures made us admire and see new ways and possibilities of taking photos, portraits. We also liked her nature flower shots and were inspired to try and imitate her shots.

The cropped photo illustrates the Viewpoint rule of composition , because it illustrates the idea of rather then just shooting from eye level, you consider photographing from high above, from down low from the sides. this photo shows just that, it creates a different view and perspective of the shot.

Cannon T3i Review

The Cannon T3i is a very good camera, its good qualities that have caught the peoples attention is it delivers excellent video capabilities and image and video quality. Although it has a lot of good features it does have its down side, with the cannon T3i If you shoot both still and video, the T3i's controls can be frustrating to operate, and it's not terribly fast for burst shooting sports, kids, or pets. The bottom line is that for the money it is worth, the Canon EOS Rebel T3i is a great choice for image quality and general shooting performance are top-notch.

Observing light

         As my group and i walked the halls observing light in different aspects of it and in different scenarios. We saw how it changed the picture and how we could use this to our advantage. the light would bounce of lighter objects and be absorbed by the darker. A member of the group walked into the light and let it hit his face, he was wearing a dark sweater, as he put on the dark hood it changed the way the light was reflecting of his face.
